Tummy Tuck

This is a 29-year-old woman who had given birth to 3 children and really wanted to get her body back into the shape she had before pregnancy. She found that diet and exercise helped her to get back to her pre-pregnancy weight (and she was clearly slender), but the quality of her tummy skin was somewhat disappointing. It became clear that no matter how proactive she was, this was not a situation she was going to be satisfied with. She came to us asking for a way to improve the quality of her abdominal skin, and we decided to do a tummy tuck in New York City.

A full tummy tuck was performed during the late winter months so that she would have a flat tummy by the summertime. The incisions were planned carefully so the scar lies quite low and is covered by her bathing suit. She now says friends can't believe the recovery she made during the winter, and they give her credit for all the Pilates classes she did that year!
