Eyelid Surgery

This is a 36-year-old woman who requested upper eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) in New York to improve her appearance. Her heavy lids were not the result of aging, but were rather a family trait. She told me that many people in her family have a similar look.

In this case, in an effort to maintain a youthful appearance, I left all of the fat in place and only removed the hooded skin from her upper eyelids. This helps create a full upper lid and brow without sagging. She had no lower eyelid work done.
