Double Chin Removal For Men Case #192

This is a very fit 32 year old man who spends his weekends competing is "Extreme" races.  While he is very lean all over, his double chin never really went away.  He tells me that no matter what his weight, he has always been self conscious about his profile.
I thought it was unfair that he could work so hard to stay in shape and still be self conscious about looking overweight - especially in photographs.  So, we performed Smartlipo Liposuction for him under local anesthesia in my NYC office.  He said he was surprised at how easy the 40 minute procedure was.
The photographs we show here are at 6 weeks post double chin removal, so he still has a little swelling, but certainly has a nice outcome already.  He was very happy and allowed me to show you these pictures as long as I cropped out the upper part of his face.
Double chin removal has become one of the most popular procedures in my office during the last few years and men are becoming a larger percentage of my practice as time goes by.
